Download the 4 sprites and 7 scripts of "Asteroids-ish thing" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Not really a game (though I may turn it into one later). Control the spaceship with the mouse. Press and hold space to build up power and let go to release it. It took me a while to get the mouse controls right (so that it wouldn't just keep on bouncing back and forth from an immobile mouse)
