Neat. Hey Coolstuff, do you live in Toronto by any chance? Just wondering. You said that you also live in Ontario. I live in Ottawa, but right now I'm visiting my grandparents in Hamilton.
Download the 6 sprites and 12 scripts of "Semi-3dness" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Half-3d with no perspective. Things just move according to distance. Very basic. Not hard at all. Left and right arrow keys to change your position. And yes, I know the shading is incorrect.

hmm, the shading may be incorrect, but I like it anyway.

Amazing!
make the grass like a scroller so youy have like 2 identical ones execpt one has differnd scripts for x value. same with mountains!
yeah i think this could lead to a full 3d game *hopefully*
nice parralax scrolling engine
Coo! This would look great in a scroller, or, if you could get it to loop, as a screensaver.
make it so that there are shadows on the terrain in the back and rightclick the variables and select hide. those are my suggestions
I kept the variables to show how it worked as it was a demostration not a game.
kewl

I live very close to toronto. About a 1 hour drive away from it. However, I live VERY close to Hamilton!
I was thinking about doing this.Mking more than one scrolling variable.
It's not at all hard to do, actually.
