This is a project that detects when you say the letter J
1.)For it to work you need to click the start button.
(Its in the middle of the screen)
2.)Then say the letter "J" out loud to your microphone
(You will have around half a second to do this,
the start button will change colors when recording)
3.)The dots towards the right will change colors based
on the the matching criteria
(Red if you messed up, Green if you didn't)
4.)If all the dots are green a message will appear
inside the box and the successful tries counter
will go up by one.
You can reset failed, successful, and total attempts
using the yellow buttons above the filter counts.
There are also instructions inside the screen.
This "comparison" is just recording volume levels and comparing them to filters to see if they match. I tried making the interface as simple as possible and the thing with the dots was just a last minute change.
This project detects if you say the letter 'J'
You need to have a **WORKING MICROPHONE**
After you click the start button say the letter J, if you said it correctly a message should appear.
If you did not say it correctly, the message will not appear and you will have to click the start button again.
This is not completely accurate because it judges by VOLUME levels.
TO USE THIS YOU MUST CLICK THE START BUTTON AND THEN SAY THE LETTER 'J', IF DONE CORRECTLY A MESSAGE WILL APPEAR.
*For this to WORK DOWNLOAD it and open it in SCRATCH*

It seems to me like a really cool project if only I could understand it! How does it work?!?!? Which kind of comparison does it perform?
