I finally made the game, it's pretty short but its good!
I thank teh internetzorz (lol) for the terrain.
Banned story for the sprites.
Controls:
space-jump
left/right arrow-movement
up/down arrow keys for climbing ropes.

I suggest you make the white in the background black so it doesn't glare in your face and the jumping and climbing in one key otherwise pretty awesome.

Very impressive! I like the motion of the walking and the jumping with the animation - very smooth! I find it quite hard but I am not very good at these...Nice job!

Thanks! And about the two way scrolling. the star's program is (just like the terrain text to it) set X position to scrollX + 460 *(the terrain number) + Movement Forever repeat 40 change movement by 10 forever repeat 40 change movement by -10. The movement changes it's X

It probably will not get frontpage, but this is the best maplestory project i've ever seen! Codgam123456 and Treeko90097 are the best know maplestory scratchers!
It's good, but it probably won't get front page. It's a normal sidescroller, it has been done a million times. You should use your skills to make something more interesting, like I did with the wall climbing ability in my space ninja game. Also, you should join my gallery for unnoticed scratchers.
