Actually, I did that, but in presentation mode, it wouldn't switch to the costume. So I was like, "Oh well."

Not bad. Did you know you can hide the variables once you don't need them anymore? And another thing: you should change the turning, it's kind of weird. Just do: when right key pressed, switch to costume right, move (However many step you want, I's seggest 10-15).
