Look! Up in the sky! It's Cheddargirl! It's balloons! It's... flying porcupines?!
Join me in my next game of high flying adventure!... Well, sort of. :P
Use the arrow keys to move as you float through the sky. Pop the balloons. How many can you pop before you're caught?
EDIT - Sept 5, 2009 Beware, the more balloons you pop, the more porcupines appear in the sky ready to knock you down!

Apologies if the fickle Java player becomes mean and makes the space bar button command not work. :(
Note: I am aware that there is a small glitch that causes the counter to increase after the game is over. I believe this is due to a small glitch with the way Java executes hide/show blocks and/or broadcasted messages.

Hi vitor_sp_fernandes. The Scratch Curator list is very long (there are a lot of people who have applied for the position), so it often takes a long time for the Scratch Team to go through the entire list when picking out a new curator; chances are that the Scratch Team has not gotten around to reading your post yet, so, in the meantime, you may need to be patient until the time comes that the Scratch Team reaches your post and decides to make you a curator. :)

Sadly, there are glitches with the Java player that cause the game to not restart properly when played online. :( But thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed 'Balloon Pop' :D

Well, I signed up immediately, so when the curator program just started, I was immediately alerted by the Scratch Team. I don't know about now because the list of people who want to be curator is so long, it takes some time for the Scratch Team to go through the entire list and pick people. :/

I designed the game so a user can touch the porcupines without losing. The porcupines just pop the balloon attached to me. :)

Hmm... Java Runtime Memory is associated with the heap memory, and usually increasing the heap memory will increase the runtime memory. But you may want to ask around in the forums for some further help on the issue. :)

Also, tell lukecherry01829 that the offending user can be added to the ignore list so kamakazekenzo22 will not be allowed to make the mean comments.

I think it happens to all curators. I just had to whip up that project on the dot because it was the only way I could think of to curb the spam.

could i suggest something add that when a procupine accidently touches a balloon the porcupine flies with more speed and the balloon explodes this will make it even more intresting

This song is called popcorn and it was originally made by Gershon Kingsley then Hot Butter made this song :) I don't think it's Jean Michel Jarre but I might be wrong :)

No, you're right, Kingsley composed the "Popcorn" song. But the one used here in "Balloon Pop" is the version composed by Jean Michel Jarre.
