Girl meets plushie, girl wants plushie, girl sees pricetag of plushie but doesn't have the cash to buy plushie. What happens next? You'll just have to watch the entire animation to find out.

Well, YGO was kind of popular in my school a couple of years ago, some of my friends were really into it; I'm not into it as much as I was years ago, but I still sometimes like watching the show or reading the manga for nostalgia. :D But, yeah, back then, YGO plushies were being sold or auctioned off at ridiculous prices. I'd rather save my money than spend it on a plush XD

Isn't it YGO5Ds now in Japan? (I've also heard about some upcoming Japanese movie involving all three Yu-Gi-Oh series put together with some enemy called Paradox). We actually do re-runs here in the US, it's that popular amongst the fans. ^^;

I'll have to give you credit for that (*bows*) because the Digimon anime did start after Pokemon anime was released. I was thinking of the time the first Digimon-related item was released in 1991 (later released again in 1997), which came before Pokemon's first franchise release in 1995-1996. My mistake. :P

I've never really liked Yu Gi Oh, seeing as it's a total Poke'mon rip-off.
Yeah, when I double checked the date, I realized I'm kind of wrong on the Poke'mon/Digimon issue. You can see my explanation in my reply to marshine's above. When it comes down to the card games and anime series, you're right, Poke'mon does come first before Digimon. My mistake. :P
(view all replies)Well, to each his/her own opinion, I don't expect everyone to like the Yu-Gi-Oh show. And in a sense, you do have some validity to your argument. But I've always thought Poke'mon was a rip-off of Digimon, seeing as Digimon was one of the first people-control-monsters show with a card game related to it and Poke'mon came after Digimon was created.

This is excellent! Remixing something and then changing it plenty! I really like the story: someone doesn't have the money to buy a plushie, so they make their own! It's a good story. You say that this was based on a true story... did this happen in real life?
It did, to me. :) Seeing nikkiperson2's project reminded me of my plushie, and I thought it would be a nice tale to tell :)
