Now it's a lot better! And yes, light blue is unrealistic, grey is a lot better.
Yeah. I didn't go as far as making the arms using two segments. Just occurred to me that this type of animation would be good for simulating a robot arm and manipulator (in 3d). Would need to do some quick matrix computations, though, like Canthiar does in a few of his projects.
Ah, see here I thought you were trigging out the forearms from the elbow position...but you're using different costumes instead. Much simpler!
I love it! I also was thinking of this sort of animation a while back, but the closest I got was a piece of construction equipment. This is great!
Good idea. I changed the background to grey with a gradient so you can see the arms.
MyRedNeptune is right, of course, the arms *are* hard to makeout. I guess they are supposed to be twigs, so light blue might contrast the background nicely but it would also be somewhat unrealistic. Perhaps you could make them appear 'frosted' with ice / snow instead...
The only thing is that the brown arms aren't seen on the black background. Maybe you should change it to light blue or something?
lol! He's got the beat! Very realistic-looking movement. I really like the idea of a character consisting of different sprites that are all related to each other. Very inspiring.
Hahaha! Wonderful. This year it seems like we're having to import snow all the way from Russia, lol! But seriously, I love the way this animation is built from 'components relating to each other', this is something I'm also currently experimenting in, but you (as always) beat me in design and ingenuity. Oh well, perhaps I should just stick with simulating music ... ;)

Lol! That's hilarious! I love it! I also liked how you said, "What did you expect, Jens' level music?"! So funny! Its got a nice tune to it too.
Note that the delay in loading sounds can affect which layer goes to the front, hiding the carrot nose. It's best to hit the green flag again after loading sounds.
