(view all replies)It's good, but it takes a lot of patience to get it write, and you had to pick the more complicated characters didn't you? You really should have started with something simpler like numbers. XP
Wait...in the notes, it says "Chinese", but some are Japanese...
is that because japanese uses some kanji/chinese-based characters?

logan996: you're right! it's not complex, which is the whole point. i think that you might be able to come up with a more complex way to control the pen, however, that may make it feel more like an actual brush. maybe someone will think of a way to remix it to make it better.

Came across this again in somebodys Favorites...this is a lot of fun to do. For added realism, if they don't put the pen to the paper quickly after filling, you could have the pen drip on the paper.
Because Valentines Day is fast approting, I am practicing the love one!!
I often find myself desperate to learn calligraphy, but never knowing how! I shall try this in real life!!

This is so cool. It's very hard but interesting. :D The biggest problem I see is that you can draw off the paper. Other than that you did a really awesome job on it :O

Kewlz!! I am making a language I call Senaqan (sen-AH-kuhn), which is many thousands of years old--and the old symbols (before the Latin alphabet started being used) look just like the stuff you can make with this!
