AWESOME!!! This is a sweet gallery. You are a cool dude!!! Check out my gallery called 2 galleries called Pigmanboy and the best of the best. ADD COMENTS to stuff!!! Tell other scratchers about it. This thing is sweet. ROCK ON. You are an awesome scratcher!!! Better than me.
Wow, a very intelligent and original implementation! With this project you definitely push Scratch in its current state (missing complex data types and subroutines) to the very limit. I especially admire the way you do this with relatively little code. Great work.
Download "sudoku"(11 sprites and 35 scripts) and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Scratch Sudoku
Change the "Insert Number" slider and click an empty square to fill it with that number. Change slider to "0" to draw notes on the board (hold space bar while drawing to erase scribbles). Game ends when you complete the grid or make five wrong guesses.
Individual games are stored graphically as arrays as demonstrated by Roberth. Each game is a separate costume within the Games sprite (2 9x9 arrays side-by-side -- the first one color coding the numbers, the second one coding the blanks). Games can be added by creating new costumes.

Very Good because of how complicating you made it. Usually I am very good at suduko's, but this was quite challenging. Overall Good Job!

thx for the comments. this is a good example of something that will be trivial once arrays are implemented...

Jens and andresmh are right. I didn't think that this was possible in Scratch before I saw your Implementation of Sudoku.
