I have something very related to this. It would work great with photos I think. Can you take a look at what I have done with my spiral down your sprites project a few days ago? Let me know what you think. Thanks
fullmoon: If I gave away a prize every time I had an error in a Scratch program, I would be homeless by now :) On the other hand, I can't replicate your problem. Are you using it in presentation mode? If you drag stuff in normal mode, the result is often not what you expected... Re not being able to switch modes during dragging, you're right: but that's what paddle2see would call a "feature," not a bug ...
Freaking amazing. It's like those multi-touch interfaces they have on the iPhone and Surface except, well, it's Scratch. I tried soemthing similar in my Scratchboard, but that used keyboard input to zoom. I could download this to look at the code, but my ego tells me to figure it out myself. Why are you so AMAZING????
Yeah. That's ducks of some sort invading our pool like in the Sopranos. I agree re just unlocking the pictures and dragging them, but I wanted to have just one-way communication (the picture would always look to see what the handle is doing, and never vice versa). I may change it, the more I think about it.
Nice! What is that picture, ducks in a pool? Looks like Mallards. To me at least, it seems more intuitive to have the drag operation on the photo do the translation and just use the handle for rotation and scaling. Then you wouldn't need two hands to do the operation.
Click on picture to show handle. Grab handle to move picture. Space bar changes between circle handle (rotate/scale) and square handle (move). Click picture again to hide handle.
This relates to a question in the forums about how to attach a handle to things to allow a user to move them around the screen.

Try some of the controls described in the notes.

Awesome!
love the house where did you get the pic from
Super cool! This is a very nice interface
Wow
Pretty handy.
This is evolving into some kind of photo-frenzy. Here's another one by me: (link to project)
See Paddle2See's project "Pictures without Handles" for a vast improvement on this interface.
now thats cool!!
Well, it's not as polished as yours, but I like it (link to project)

AWESOME! I found a bug in one of Chalkmarrow's projects (when you download it, the resize function doesn't work). Do I get a prize?
bit of a problem with the handles though-you can't switch scale/drag with mouse down

How come everything you make is so amazing?

lol, ednac, i didn't think of that. i should make some sort of nerdy dress up game...
Amazing. This is very cool. I can imagine the "dress-up" games that are so popular could use a variation of something like this.
Neat! You're great at UI design.
Very nice project.
very good
thats very cool. that could be useful for a presentation. nice one.
