An Operating system will never be written in Scratch. for one, it would take up terabytes of space, and besides, scratch doesn't have the option of commands that can control a computer, which are required in every Operating System. You can't make a scratch program that will read a CD, or control a mouse and keyboard. Plus, any program in scratch is based on scratch, so therefore you would have it install scratch before you can install the OS and how do you install scratch if there IS NO OS?
