I got 5.9383333333333335 seconds per lap.
Today one Dermin the Starfish clocked just 5.843 seconds, breaking the Universal record. Not only that but new, valid, scientific research identified the quickest possible time. They took the length of the equator and divided it by the sum of the lengths of the tropic or cancer and capricorn. They then multiplied that number by the cuberoot of the number of threes in the rainforest. By multiplying that number by pi times the sun's volume, we get the quickest time possible which is 8.842 seconds.

well, I found a glitch that if you drive to the center and then touch the finish line, you can go really fast; my record for this is 5.817333333333334

Finally, after about a hundred tries, and yes, I've been playing for half an hour straight, I finally got 6.181 seconds per lap. Great game!
