"...since it uses my two favorite things: trig, and springs." lol you're crazy! By the end of last year I was about ready to kill myself if i had to do another elastic potential energy problem ever again. But this is a pretty cool project, as all of yours always are. Good job!

Well, I haven't had to yet experience either of those things in real mathematics yet... I'm sure when I will I'll be the same way! But right now, I just use a very simple approach... I also don't do the potential energy and that sorof stuff. If you download and look at the scripts, you'll see that there's nothing too fancy... The only thing that was important was the combination of the two. I knew how to do both... Anyways, thanks for the compliment! I like your projects, too!

Cool! I was wondering how to do that myself. But I can't grip trig, so I guess I'll just have to move on to something else.

Hmm... Well, I could teach you trig! It's actually pretty easy... Go to trig on wikipedia. Now look at the one animation of the sine being graphed. At least, that's how I learned... And I was supposed to learn that next year!

Okay. I don't quite know geometry yet... But I do know algebra. Hmm... You do kinda need to have at least a little bit of algebra to fully know what you're doing. It's not really required, it's just that it will expand your understanding of mathematics.

it is pretty good, but when u drag down, it messes up.

I know... I finally learned why. It's because the string uses fake gravity, so when you pull it an amount that is higher than the amount that it's trying to go to, it will screw up. There is a way to fix it, but that would mean sacrificing it's movability. Or I could just make the length higher and take out some of the lengths... but that would still get rid of some fluidity.

? Like, as in, how? Do you mean, a whole bunch of interwoven strings? If so, then it'd have to be 3d... Hey! That could be kinda cool...

It gets very glitchy at 30. I tried it. But at about 50 its really cool!

Whoa! I'm amazed that I'm featured! However, now I know why it goes weird when you pull it down... It's because the string has fake gravity. Yeah, making this project was pretty cool... It used two of my favorite things: Trig, and springs.

This is good but when you drag the whole thing down it has like a seizer.

I know. Look at the comment two above this for why. I could fix it, but it would make the whole string less fluid.

Your featured project is amazing too! Hmm... I know that 3d is completely possible. 3d with textures, too. however, it will take a lot of work. I'm not sure who's gonna do it, but I know that it's completely possible. (But not in realtime! That's impossible! (Exept for simple shapes))

Horizontal motion is fine, but vertical isn't too fine. I'm going to download it and see what the problem is.

Okay. I don't really know either. I'd kinda like to know. (Warning! You need to know trig, and it's inverse functions!) Also, building it was kinda messy. There was this one part that I didn't understand why I had to do the stuff that I was doing, and I kinda went around in a trial-and-error sort of way, but somehow I got what I have working now to work... But I don't understand the vertical problem.

I know! I don't really know how to fix it... Oh well, it doesn't really matter, I guess... But still, I'm curious as to why that happens.
