ITss BECUUzuZZ False Startzz with F soooooooooooooooo Thats whyyyyyy!!!!!!!!11111111111~
The cat is supposed to say false but it says the first letter of false which is f.
P.S. It tries to say false because the statement "yes = length of world" is false
P.S.S. Length of world equals 5 and Letter 1 of yes is y, so you can understand why it says that "y = 5" is wrong.
Hope I helped!! :D
That's really cool! But can you do that on my version of scratch? My version is over a year old. Anyway, check out my newest project Block. (I was running out of naming ideas)
Its not a glitch :P Although it took me a few seconds to figure out. If you put that script with something that doesnt match "Yes" then you get "F" for false, if you put something that matches yes "Yes = Yes" then you get "T" for true.
Yup thats difinately from 1.3. It's soooooo annoying. I had a sprite with 75 costumes with text when that happened! PLUS another 10 or so sprites with text...
Thats an old glitch from 1.3. It happened to me. The best way to get rid of it is to put the text in again and then save the project with a different name.

I know. Since yes doesn't equal world, it is false. And the first letter of false is F. That's why you get that.
It is supposed to say faulse but it says f!
it always says f. How weird.

I like the Type Thingy
its simply saying the first letter of false. yes doesn't equal 5 (or does it? :P jk) so the answer is false, thus the first letter of flase is F
Ifs yes'es 1st letter =y is 5 letters, you asked for a one letter answer. False = F :D
<yes = (length of world)> is false, therefore the first letter is f.
don't get it
f??
that makes perfect sense.
unfrikin awesome =(
yes does not equal world. It is "False", letter 1 of False if f
OMG UR RIGHT
better put, yes does not equal length of world, which is false, and letter 1 of false is f
I mean 5.
Y couldn't equal 3!
my computer has a glitch so it doesn't work. poor me
The cat is supposed to say false but it says the first letter of false which is f. P.S. It tries to say false because the statement "yes = length of world" is false P.S.S. Length of world equals 5 and Letter 1 of yes is y, so you can understand why it says that "y = 5" is wrong. Hope I helped!! :D
omg u must be a smarta** because i dident understand hardly any ov ur comment above
Sorry where i first say yes = length of world I was supposed to say letter 1 of yes
(view all replies)i hate math. :} cant figure out a darn thing
That really cool
That's really cool! But can you do that on my version of scratch? My version is over a year old. Anyway, check out my newest project Block. (I was running out of naming ideas)
Ok, that's really wierd.
I get it. the statement "yes = length of world" retrieves a boolean value, which here is false, and the first letter of false is f
Thanks that helps a lot!
(view all replies)go here it will explain it: (link to project)
but don't type 6 or it well say nothing
oh and i forgot type 5
to prove this type letter 2 and if its a type 3 it should say l then type 4 it well probably say e
I know why because letter one of yes = letter 1 of world is false and letter one of false is f
OMG I thought u quit!!!!!
i know i know: i java yes==5 returns false. scratch uses java and the rest is simple enough.
if yes = lenght of world, means false to the computer, so it says false when it doesnt have the letter 1 of < >, so when it DOES, it says F
true. false can be no or 0.
(view all replies)He's saying the first letter of false. At first I thought he was saying the first letter of my name.
Let me translate, <[yes]=(length of[world])> is equal to false, therefore, it means (letter 1 of "false"), and put that into a "say" block, and voila!
Ahh - I see. So if you remove the "letter 1 of blank" block, it will just say false. Interesting. Not sure if that is a bug or a feature..
Bosox wanna brawl?
i cant
Oh.. just saw post below :P
Its not a glitch :P Although it took me a few seconds to figure out. If you put that script with something that doesnt match "Yes" then you get "F" for false, if you put something that matches yes "Yes = Yes" then you get "T" for true.
It's because <yes = (length of [world]> is like the word "false" and you're getting the first letter ("f").
that is wierd... not as wierd as the one i found! i saved and any spot with text dissapeared!
If you save the project, close it, open it, and save it again, the text reappears.
Yup thats difinately from 1.3. It's soooooo annoying. I had a sprite with 75 costumes with text when that happened! PLUS another 10 or so sprites with text...
