nevermind, you made this REALLY simple. i did it the EXTREMELY HARD way in RAIN OF MERCY. when i release the demo, can you look at it and tell me how you like the counter scripting?
That's sharp! Very useful - easy to resize too. I noticed you used stamping for the different digits-that could be a problem for some projects that use the pen. One easy modification would be to have separate sprites for each digit (and some logic to hide if the digit is not in use).
