what a relief not being bound to 140 characters
another thing: I fixed the incomplete grid drawing bug. Already making mistakes with the comment/value buttons. Will need to consolidate to one button...take away the add/mod value button......hmm...that would make only one necessary info line :D
Nice! Although it won't type letters in, its not a big bring-down, considering how you made this. Maybe add something so you can color blocks, for like a bargraph.
Scratcel, updated for 1.4...the new 'ask' block has really made it easier to tackle a project like this, whew.
unfortunately, I'm doing everything on a new computer, so my wonderful exported sprites that made life a lot easier (like a sprite that contained costumes for the alphabet), I must now do again.
-Fast Grid Drawing: DONE
-Cursor: DONE
-Cell Identifyer: DONE
-Arrays: DONE
-Keyboard support: DONE
-Tools: Pending
-Functions: Pending
-General Awesomeness: Priceless.
Update 6: Full keyboard support (0-9, A-Z, .); you can now comment, using letters and numbers (please note the new comment button). Also clicking will also show a new "highlighter" that shows the selected cell. Additional inner updates: Got rid of all the variables and scripts and lists I didn't need anymore.
Update 5: Able to display decimals; changed button to add/mod values, since u do both with the same button.
Update 4: Small update (caption showing cell, thanks for the idea Yelmo) and retweaking of input scripts (a lot simpler now, thanks to the ask block) to make full use of scratch 1.4
Update 3: Added a piece of script so that "value" box would display the value in the cell upon selection.
Update 2: Value Input of numbers added
Update 1: Cell Identifier

Excellent way to enter and edit matrices! This technique can lead the way to a whole class of new projects. Awesome!
thank you very much!
Very interesting. I like how it doesn't use a sprite for every cell! :)
Wow... This is incredible!
Excel! Cool!
Excel is very uncool. M$ sucks.
very impressive.
Very great project!!!!! Good job!!!! It's based on the Excel...
