WHAT'S UP WITH THE FIXED?
Those of you who have seen this project as it originally was will know that it didn't used to run any scripts, just show the blocks. This is because of two streak-only watchers I added, which annoyed the java player. Now that they're gone, it works!
Here is a list of all new blocks to be in streak (1.3.1)0.1. It might not work too well in the java player, but it works fine downloaded. Ps. Some of the compatible blocks are in the project...

Wow! I'd love to see more new blocks!! There are plenty suggestions in the forums that need some implementation. I'm looking forward to the next release!

aww, i saw this, streak seems really cool, but no "ask" script! and that's such a good feature...
of course, i'm guessing streak was made LONG before the ask script

Great! The only quarrel I have with this is Right mouse down is easy to create. Just do If=mouse down not=left mouse pressed

Yes, but I've added support for control, alt, shift, and a few other keys.
I downloaded your Streak image and I found 1 error in one of you blocks. In the ([],[]) block, you made it report (t1 asString , t2 asString), but it needs to be (t1 asString asUTF8 , t2 asString asUTF8).
I see... You are correct, however I have as of yet seen no circumstances where this would make any difference. If there is one which I've overlooked, please tell me. However, if not, it is best to avoid the calling of two unnecessary functions.

Oh, it just turns 180 degrees... not very useful, but speeds up some projects
i just heard that you cant share projects that use streak blocks... is that true?
Yes. Streak only lets you share projects in compatible mode. And even that is bending the rules a bit, so I'll most likely remove the share button altogether next version. However, if the java player source code is ever released, than I may be able to optimise it for streak projects, and allow sharing to the Streak server.

Middle mouse? I have a laptop, and I can right-click with the trackpad, but no middle mouse button.
Also, you can set it so that a press of both buttons is taken as a middle mouse click.
Yes, middle mouse is usually clicking the scroll wheel.
And one more thing on your Streak site, I was looking around and then this violent, bloody, and scary ad for some game popped up. Is that supposed to happen? It freaked me out :|
Really? That is something I will have to look into... Of course, that could be my host (I need to use the free package in order to keep streak free,) however, this shouldn't happen. So far, Ive trusted forum users with HTML, but if this happened on the forums, it could be an XSS attack. No worries, I can ban that user and delete the offending post.

It is a modified scratch. It adds new blocks, and other functionalities.

(view all replies)It is the 'pureness' of a colour... For instance, yellow is totally pure, gray is completely mixed. A grayish yellow is somewhere in between.

The installer and executable are for windows, but the image is platform-independant. To run Streak on a mac, download the image file alone, and drag it onto scratch.app, in the scratch folder.

From http://streak.t35.com. Use the Links at the top (I recommend the 'download windows installer' one; it's easiest). One thing to note: this does not include any plugins. They are available on the download page.

Oh, of course. to release a source code, however, I need to add some components to streak. This will be out soon. Also: you can run it on a mac. Just download the image file from the streak website, and drag it onto the scratch.app file in your scratch folder.

All of the red ones are obsolete scratch blocks. They are still supported by scratch; just not in the palette!

you are quite creative, but most of these are indeed, obsolete.
Some are. However, they are all ones which I think would extend the functionality of Streak greatly.

yes, I understand. Especially because I play trombone, and therefore need it more often. One thing I may be able to do, is to allow you to enter decimals as the note. But I'll see what I can do.

Oh, that is the pureness' of the colour. For instance, using just the palette without the gray strip, you can't get gray shades. That is because the gray is 100% saturated, and the palette is 0%. Download the project, go to the streak logo sprite, and find the two saturation blocks. Play around with it, it should make sense.

They don't all work with scratch. Most are unique to streak.

No, no, no. Not scratch 1.4. Streak! Streak is my version of scratch, you see. Therefore, I would know. These are actually in streak, working. However, one of these could well be in 1.4...
