Download the 6 sprites and 19 scripts of "minesweeper" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
My attempt at making minesweeper with scratch. Select the number of mines you want to have on the slider and then click the green flag. Click on squares to reveal how many mines are next to that sqaure. Try to flag the mines by holding space and clicking. You have limited flags. Only click on a square when it tells you it is 'ready'. that was genius idea to use a square as a map. i probably would've used lists but i'm not sure if that would actually be better or not... probably not... great game

That's great! One thing you could make is for the blank spaces to open the ones around it. Try mine, (link to project)
yours is good if playing in turbo, otherwise epically slow. i like this one better, sorry. yours is still good though
another one: click and hold the mouse on a number and rapidly press space. the number changes =]
Awesome job! I found a glitch tho: if you hold down the mouse on a square you already found, it shows the mini-map with all the mines XP

Fantastic project! I loved it. I’ve to reduce to 10 mines, because I was loosing always with 20. Then I won, but I didn’t get a welcome message for that.

I used an array in my game "Memory" (link to project) it is very large, but nobody will get past 50 or so.
I loved this because it was like the real one!

the numbers were arrangedwrong cuz i clicked a spot where none should logically have been and lost but awesome besides that! better than bluestrides

the square has been stamped so it cannot have a ghost effect. good idea though.

I think I can solve the problem with the "glitchy" square. Try setting it's ghost effect to 100%, It worked on that 3D tank project, I think.
Wow... I thought about doing this once, but I didn't know how to make it work with only a few sprites, great job!
MasterOfMac, the square is not glitchy it is needed to plot where the mines are. if you hide it it does not work, i have tried.

This is not retarded. It's a game that managed to find a way to use picture matrices to compensate for Scratch's limited capabilities. >_> Nice work bigB
