Amazing! It’s the first robot that I’ve found in Scratch. I had to look inside in order to understand how the car memorizes the way. Very clever! I noticed only one small fault: the race begins always at the same position. So, the car memorizes always the same path nodes. But I loved it, with enthusiasm.
Wow, awesome project! Thank you for the complement you gave Gray Bear Productions, we really appreciated it. =) We have recently finished a game, and I was wondering if you wanted to see it. Here is a link. (link to project) Thank you! =D
bigB, please go to my projects and see Scratch Bash Remix. THIS IS NOT SPAMMING!!! I'm just wishing yu would do something for it. Please comment and participate.
Wow, great job! This is amazing and a great progress in the programmable Ai! Do you think that it is possible to have an CPU that knows how to run the course but can dodge moving and random obstacles as well?
Wow! This is a very good technique that I can't even do yet! I like how it repeats the track afterwards, and I LOVE how it doesn't restart at the starting line! I love this demo!
This is a demonstration of a car 'learning' it's way around a track. Start it with the green flag. The red and yellow sensors detect a crash and this affect how it tackles that part of the course next time it tries it. It takes a few minutes to learn the whole track but please watch it learn at least part of it.
NEW IMPROVEMENT
It works faster by not repeating as much and also shows the lap afterwards without any sensors as proof that it has learn the track.

Awesome project! I especially like how you draw the cars. (I used a texture from your scrolling racing game.)
this is smart
Besides, Using lists will make it have as much data as it can! I will try to make a list verison, maybe.
goodluck
(view all replies)Brilliant work!
omg that was so amazing i hope I can make something like that... not that i ever could
cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AWESOME idea! How can you do THAT without using lists?(you don't have to tell me though)
I love this one. I downloaded it!
You could use lists instead
clever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think this would make an excellent ai for a racing game
Cool!
Nice! this is definately a one-of-a-kind type of project I'm sure and I really hope it comes to get featured again or for once if it hasn't already.
That is so coollllll... Check out my game: the ultimate game of ice fixed version
very cool... interesting idea
AWESOME
Brilliant!
Yeah we do!!! I like this game a lot!!!
wow cool great memory
pretty cool....see if you can make a game ot of it:)
I don't get it...
wow! We have the same avatars!
Not so good...
is there anything in particular you dont like?
wicked bigB
amazing!
cool
It reminds me of a documentary series called robocars...
awsome!
this is very clever and cool. it could be very handy in the real world as well.
very clever idea!
this is amazing!

So cool. That's an elegant computer learning technique.

That's cool!
oh I get it! I think... well just the getting information not storing... just a guess cuz I don't feel like downloading lol variables???
Think of all the ways you could integrate this into an interactive game - you vs. the computer!
I was wondering where you were storing all the learned track information...then I saw all the sprites. Very clever!
I changed the track and the car got stuck: (link to project)
Much more visually impressive than the original because the learning process can be seen.

this is a great idea!
Awesome! Great idea, if only it would go faster...
Wow, very cool :P
