Nice. Downloaded to have a look at how you are dealing with angles. I've got something similar going in my current project, and wonder if my approach over-complicates it...
do you mean it should be controlled by the mouse? if so the reason i did not do that is because it would be too easy to control and there would be less of a challenge.
I would love some response on how difficult people find it. i dont know if people will now find it too easy or too hard.
Even with a slower AI it can be hard to win so it may help you to know that it always aims for the point furthest from you. To beat him return to the middle after you have hit the ball and hit them with alot of angle so they bounce of the walls.
The ball slowly speeds up throughout the round so a good hint it to focus on just returning the ball at first (not worrying about the angle) and then when the ball is moving faster do a large angle shot that he cannot keep up with.
I changed the difficulty and made other changes in this 1player version of my origional PingPong. It now has 2 difficulty levels. On Easy the AI is 20% slower than you and on Hard it is the same speed. (so there is no excuse for losing). control with the arrow keys First to 11 with 2 clear points wins enjoy.
