i've finished the game
note that for the boss fight you need to use your special to kill him. each attack the boss will shoot a special at you, hit him with a special three times to win. note that you can heal but that is a waste of attack. also try and dodge the boss attacks. the boss attacks you with your own special, try not to let him heal

The graphics are pixelated (and a bit funny) and there are some glitches but on the overall this is good! :)

I saw all the variables you used. That is a lot! Another great triumph of your scrolling games! Although the boss part was kind of confusing, but it was good. By the way, I just made an elaborate text-only adventure RPG that I'd like you to see. (link to project)

what program did you make your icon in?
You can get a 30 day trial of the newer version, but it costs about 600 dollars to buy. Its the same software they used to make the youtube player as well as most online games.

oh hey, by the way, can I use your staff in a Super Smash Bros Ball game? I made a ball version of your staff, basically a see through ball with black border and your staff inside, brown line with purple circle on top, very simple, i will try to put it on my page. the game is called Ultimate Smash Arena. (not out yet)

Meh, I don't want to fix it up. The base is good, FT's coding introduced a lot of bugs.

Your game is very plain and basic. At least this one tried to make things better. don't get offended or anything like that. Just chill :D
(view all replies)Well I would give it a 7/10 but I only coded the main engine. FT did not the best job on what he did do. However, this is quite a bit better than your cube man game.
(view all replies)Personally I think it could have been better. But after FT worked on the programming it was a pain to deal with. I think the main problems are, too many glitches, and too laggy (from the music).
10/6 is 160% so I am assuming that was a compliment?

Scratch was designed to be an educational tool. It is a bridge to more complex programming. Archmage is on the other side of that bridge now.

Awesome game! I like the Nuclear fallout Zone and i especially like the music! You could improve the graphics a bit though... I hate how The Spriter's Resource went out of Business!

l0l... archmage, r u still usin scratch? D0 S0ME PR0PER PR0GRAMMING. Scratch is great, but it is limited, use sumut like visual basic... and btw, u spell 1337 with a 1 n0t an L (and my 0 letter key is br0ke, s0 i have 2 use 0's)
Yeah this is my last project.
This is proper programming? Your only limited by your ability to program in Squeak. It is open source after all. And it is much better not to have to worry about syntax errors!

Yeah, with the enemies, I can't change the code for them because to add the scripts to make it not go through things would cause too much lag. FT is working on fixin other bugs though.

Btw yesterday when I went paintballing, we won every round. Our team captain secretly put the best of the 18 of us on the same team XD But I did get mauled on my hand...
