How do you make the little meter thingy? Y'know, the one to change the computer level?
You make a varible and when it's on the screen, right click on it and a menu will come up, and click on 'slider'.

yo archmage im new to scratch and have just gotten done with my new game demo Kingdom Hearts Kairs's Caring( you may call it Riku's Remembrence if you like). its about wat Kairi and wat Riku did while Sora was gone!i only haz a demo done and some plot line stuff done so if u lik it plz tell mez and all those people who love slight twists to awesome games!

It's fun, but kinda slow
It's really really good. But why don't you just do it on flash? No lagg and can hold much more. Don't think scratch is designed for this thing?

(view all replies)This runs way too fast online. If you want I can make a youtube video showing how fast it runs. It runs so fast that it isn't even fun anymore. It takes like .1 seconds to get across the stage and back.

Is that sarcasm or does it actually run too fast for you? Most people have lag issues with this project.

You need to work on your sprites more, they aren't supposed to move around when they are staying still.
Its not my fault. Scratch just can't handle my scripts.

To put your games online, go to the SHARE button at the end of the "save as" and "open", etc on SCRATCH. To view them online, you need Java.

There is a update that might come out soon called scratch net or netscratch don't know yet, any way it enales online features

The thing is that I am just trying to make it work online. Half the time spent on this project was just trying to make it run faster online. Can you describe why its bad online?

Yeah, I was gonna use some of the bleach sprites but...aarrgghh can't do something correctly on it so yep, and I scrolled down by Pikachu and I think Pika's SS was like 15% done or something.

(view all replies)Wow. I just played this and maybe its just lag, but your AI is BRUTAL! I finally beat it, but I had him set to a level one cpu and I pretty much got owned... in this particular project I admire your patience more than your scripting abilities, because it must have been a pain to upload all those sprites off the internet into scratch and add alpha and stuff... Kudos Archmage! This is epic!

This is about the Olympics. How about there is an also an older project category that each team can add 1 older project to, but it doesn't count for the overall. Demosthenes made the suggestion.
Yeah, Demosthenes made that suggestion because he knows he can win it easily. If you want his team to win that badly go ahead and add that catagory but if you don't want to be a tool then ignore him.
