Hey andresmh. I have an idea for scratch mobile. if you can't get an iphone app. try and android app. android isn't so strict about apps. you don't even have to jailbreak an android phone to use any app from the internet.
I love the new scratch 2.0 plans! Thank you for making scratch the program, I started the road as a really good programmer! Now I'm studying C++ and Visual Basic, can you tell me a little about how you made the scratch program? I'm just curious.

hello. i want to make a huge CLUTTER game involving the MSA series, but Mahoashley keeps saying that i may not. Scratch is open-source as long as you give credit, and she is acting like it's an expensive program. as you may be able to tell, Mahoashley and I are getting very irritated. how can i solve this dilemma?
First of all, you need to be respectful to any member of the Scratch community. Second, anything shared on the Scratch website can be reused as long as you give credit and keep the remix or clutter also open for anyone to reuse. Getting irritated is unnecessary because you can create such clutter without asking for permission as long as you are respectful and follow the rules I described above. Of course, many people might not agree with the rules of our website and they can choose not to use it

i have a question i have a song i want to use on scratch and it is a mp3 which scratch accepts but it won't accept it :( and i am using 1.3
Sometimes Mp3. files have protection on them so scratch i dont think will accept to open that file :) or stream rate might be too high!

Hi andremh. I'm in a careers class for school, and we had to choose a job that we might consider doing. I chose computer programmer, and I have a few questions about it sinse I know you're one: 1) How many hours od you work on average per week? 2) How much do you make per hour? 3) How many years of college did you attend? 4) What is your favorite part of being a computer programmer? 5) What it your least favorite part of being a computer programmer? 1. I used to work from home a lot and I also used to do personal stuff at work so it's hard to quantify. But I'd say around 50hrs/week. 2. I was not paid by the hour. I had a a yearly salary of around $70K. 3) I spent 4 years in college. 4. My favorite part was coming up with solutions to new problems and learning new things all the time. 5. My least favorite was to work on issues that I didn't care about.

Never mind again. I find if I work hard enough, I can figure everything out. So the project is done, with updates planned in the future. You should check it out. I'm trying to make the Ultimate Scratch Character Creator in which the characters you make you can also incorperate into games.

Oh, never mind, fixed it. But I have run into another problem that I hope you know how to fix. Go to my project Character Creator and download it. You'll see that I've added all the mechanisms that are needed to make the arms and legs move when walking. But it's not working, and I can't figure out for the life of me how to make it work.
Minor problem on slider variables... Okay, so I'm trying to make the ultimate character customization engine, and I'm using slider variables to edit stuff. Problem is, when I upload it, the variables do not stay in the same place I put them, and they are no longer sliders, so no one can move them. They are just regular variables. Also, when I save the project and come back, the same thing happens: The slider become normal variables and they are not in the right place. What can I do?

The sound has been used before without sensoring and it is a minor swear word. Although the other projects just had it as background music and thid is a music video of it.

(view all replies)andresmh, there is something weird going on the top viewed. I look at the top viewed page, and I look at where my project SHOULD be, but its not. Is there anything you can do? And I'm not the only user that experienced this, please help.

Andresmh* is there anything you can do about the dissapearing text glitch?It's really getting on my nerves.Every time I'm almost done with a project the text dissapears and I either have to start over or redo every word.

I made an account, then some of my friends made an account after me on my computer. even though we all used different email addresses, it stilll thinks that i made multiple accounts. does this mean that if 1 of them get banned then my account gets banned too? and also, if someone flags ur project, do you usually get kicked off scratch? or is it just taken off the website?
It depends, but it is possible that if one of the accounts gets blocked all the others do too. Be careful not to share your computer! If someone flags your project the Scratch Team reviews it and then decides what to do. Just because someone flagged it doesn't mean you get banned. The Scratch Team decides what to do in each case.

Hi Bobberpi. Just so you know, we've received a request from a lawyer claiming to represent the owner of the trademarked term "Scanimation," requesting that the term be removed from your projects. They did mention that the terms "Picket Fence Animation" and "Raster Bar Animation," as well as any other term besides scanimation would be acceptable - so you may feel free to rename them as you see fit. Hello andresmh, can I ask you a question about bulliers? Some people aren't happy with the rules of my friend's RPG and joined anyway, and they're making an enormous deal over how the rules should change. It's seriously wrecking my friend's daily life. :c Is there any way you can help?

andresmh, there are a ton of projects online about religion, projects that are telling people to believe in what they believe. i think that scratch should just completely ban religious projects, because im tired of seeing it.
why do you think it is bad to have projects about religion? people who do not want to see them can avoid clicking on them
