Download the 5 sprites and 10 scripts of "Trigonometric Flower…" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
This is a project where different shapes are drawn using the basic trigonometric functions:
sin
cos
tan
You can adjust the words of the poem using the silver slider which you can move up and down according to where you want the words to be.
The backgrounds were made by the following process:
Go to the Stage.
Click on Backgrounds.
Click on Camera [Some computers have a camera like the one I use and some unfortunately do not].
Point something to the camera to create a magnificent background.
To continue the sonnet, Press SPACE after you finish each line.
{The sonnet was written 2 years ago, when I was 8 years old}.
The music is made by my Mother, Ivaana, and I.

Wonderful poem, wonderful artwork. It'a a good idea to use the camera function for creating a background. In my opinion it would look much more beautiful without the "press space to continue".

Well, nobody is going to miss that instruction :) One last thing (very important) - please make sure your parents are okay with you posting your full name online. I'm sorry if I didn't think to mention it before. Kids (and adults too) need to be careful about how much personal information gets put in a project to protect against identity theft and other crimes.

One last thing...when you leave a link for people, make sure there is no period on the end of the link. There's a cool little bug in the website right now that logs somebody right off when you click on a link ending in a period - plus the project never loads :(
