Thanks. This is the priginal project of a series of many languages. Do you know another language? Maybe you can remix. Even if you do not, can you remix anyways (making changes)?
I like the ASK function! I think it adds a lot. I had a thought on the Stamp function. It's not always clear that anything has happened when you click on the button...maybe have the cat flash a different color or something?
The new stamp feature (with the list) turn it more towards a drawing project. I think they are fun and useful features...but do consider that the more features you add, the more complex the project. At some point, it is possible to add so many features that the point of the project gets hidden. Only you can say when that point is though :)
Saw your project. Now I understand what you were looking for. When I get a chance, I will fix mine. Also, can you please try to add "Gravitational Potential Energy Calculator" to the Scratch Design Studio's latest gallery?
Thanks for helping. I deleted the list and deleted my project for the Scratch Design Studio's Lists gallery. Do you think I should consider an ask feature which would not take up much room? I appreciate your time, Ahaan.
So, shown I delete the Stamps list and feature or is there a way of enhancing this? Thank you so much for taking your time and trouble to help me, Regards, Ahaan.
Just noticed that you have a big sound file stored in the Cat sprite (very nice music) that is not being used. Maybe you should remove it so it doesn't take up space. Or, have it play :)
Sir, I made two more changes to this. I added a list and I added a stamp feature to this. I will be very very honored if you can take a look at my changes and add it to ScratchDesignStudio's gallery "Lists, List, Lists". Regards, Ahaan.
Thank you soooo much for helping me. Now I know how to round numbers to integers in a situation like this. Now, my project works. Also, I added yours to my XY coordinate Series. You should have got that message now: Your project "Go to the Point you Wish To!" has been added to the "The XY Coordinate Series" gallery. This really makes me feel better.
Here's a remix that gets rid of the exponential notation issue by forcing the positions to be integer using the Round block... (link to project) We shouldn't have to do that - but I guess we do!
I like your changes...now it is more like a multi-color drawing project so it will be more interesting for people to use. Yet you can still learn from it because of the reporting of the position. I like being able to drag the cat where I want and still have the position reported - that's fun and useful. Still having trouble with the position reporting exponential notation when you move along an axis though.
I kept trying different things. I have now made another change in the script. {If you download, you will be able to see it. However, nothing works with me}.
I modified this project by making a paint and draw project, too. I also added a "two-background" feature. Thanks to Paddle2See, one of my position reporting glitches is now fixed.
Thank you so much. I made a new one fixing some glithes of my original Log Spiral Demo and adding some new features (link to project) I hope you like it. Thanks -- Ahaan. {I never quit Scratching}.
A good project for people trying to understand how the X and Y axes work! I just wish I knew why the online version doesn't round the values down to zero all the time. When I move just left and right along the X axis, I get a value like 1.014E-15 for the Y position when it should be exactly zero. 1.014E-15 is pretty close to zero (it's very small) but it is not exactly zero. It must be a slight error with the MOVE calculation.
It was working before. Now I see what you are. I will try to make a remix and see if it works and maybe you can make a remix when you get time. Thanks, Ahaan
Move with arrows. Press space to reset.
Chose Backgound. Drag Cat. Change Pen Color. Click on Stamp to Stamp the cat sprite and the position of the cat when it was stamped will appear on the Stamps List.
Remix Instructions:
Download; change to your own language; make extra changes; share with your own name.
Music made by my Mom.
Thank you, Paddle2See, for help.

(view all replies)OK
cool!
Thanks, maurits. Is it so that you want to contribute to the XY coordinate series? Is that why you bookmared it?
(view all replies)I like how you have so many options.
No problem.

Woo! A very interesting way of getting the position to be an integer. Thank you. I shall try to do that.
