hey,um,i know you never reply, but i'll just hope you do!
My spritesheet background colour is blue, and when i square, the background blue goes with the sprite, how do you get rid of the blue?
well..easier way..Open paint, open pic/sprite you want to edit..one finished use crop tool and select the area you wat, then go to edit on that top bar, then click copy to...,then you can save it there and then, i also know how to get screenshots of online games such as AQW and not using screen print, use the snipping tool, select area of screen you want to save and it does most of it for you!!!!)takes in breath)
I did that with a Luigi sprite sheet from spriters-resource.com but when I saved it and opened it in scratch, it was to small and I could barely see it. Why is this happening?
I would avise to open up two paint's, still copy the sprite the same way, then paste it into the other paint program and save. This allows you to get more sprites for the same sheet without needing to open it up again and again.
Teaches people how to use Paint to take one sprite from a sprite sheet. Please comment and tell me if I missed anything. Please don't say that you already know how to do this because I am pretty sure there is at least one person that doesn't know how to do it.

Um... Not to be rude or anything, but last time i checked, "Spriting" is when you make your VERY OWN Sprites. No offence.

aaaaand...i have proof of editing things..it was my old pic, the edited emerl, the ren&black one, with the skull 'n' crossbones on it!
Its pretty not useful :(. But you are cool!
that was good
take back what i said...How can i get rid of the white around the sprite? The white part won't exactly help me if it's there the whole time.
leave the white in paint, open in scratch, click edit and put the filler color as clear and put on white area.
(view all replies)how do you paste just the sprite?I paste the whole paint sheet when i save it on paint...not just the cut out sprite.
Its pretty useful :)
um after u save do u just open the sheet again? an thensave another sprite?
Yes
but if u have like a hundred sprites yu gotta take one sprite, save, blah blah blah, then oh cool annother 99. Am i doing it right?
yeah
(view all replies)I leanred something new :D...

the sheet is too big for scratch. you need to do what the project says to, not just open in paint, save it, and put it on scratch.
ill make a progect to mak it bigger
Well duh that was pointless everyone knows how to do thart if they sat down and thought.
DON'T BE RUDE!
wow i can do it yay!
Rdsdude is rught TandZteam...
the best format that scratch reads are .PNG be sure to save as a .PNG file
This doesn't work. if you import it to scratch it doesn't show up.
Did you save it as the right format. Try saving it as .PNG.
I use GIMP.
i dont get it

good idea, i have a kirby sprite sheet and it has like over lik 150 sprites so 2 paints would be better
thanks, but.... still takes forever
Patience is a virtue. ;)
I agree
whoohoo thanx a lot
what if you have a mac? this seems like its for PC;s
Yeah i have mac ;)
Useful, but you have to save the file in the correct format (bitmap or bmp., I think) or at least that is what happened to me sometimes.
I save it as .PNG
Very helpful, thanks for making it.
This is very useful
