I just noticed, there are things that cover up Christian holidays. Santa is there to make Christmas seem like it is all about presents. The Easter Bunny is there to make Easter seem like a time for eggs and candy...

scientists say jesus wasn't even born on Christmas! The holiday was made by the church to convince the pegins to be Christian, of course, I'm not religious, so Christmas is about all those things

I am so glad you made this! There are SO MANY people who do not know the true meaning of christmas. IT is NOT about Santa Claus. It is about the birth of our lord Jesus Christ.

The real question, of course, is about *abiogenesis*, and "God did it" is not a sufficient explanation, especially in light of all the other creation myths that say a *different* god did it.
(view all replies)2) That's a form of argument known as "Cherry-picking" where you pluck all the bits the support your argument from the Bible and sweep everything else under the rug and pretend it doesn't matter. For ever statement in the bible that *could* be loosely interpreted as agreeing with science, there is another contradictory point (such as the claim that the sun moves around the earth, or that rabbits chew the cud...)
1) Every religon has examples of miracles that are too numerous to be coincidence - although oddly, all of them occurred before the documentation and recording of such things was undertaken scientifically...
Of course I don't understand your "proof", because it makes no sense. You cannot prove that a particular piece of mythology is true by claiming that "this mythology says we will never see proof, therefore it must be true!" which is what you are trying to do.

In Portugal, we use to say that Christmas is whenever a man wanted. Discarding the divinity part, there is yet a lot of Jesus to love and copy, every day, now a days, ones to each other.
