Nice way of making graphics! But I think my sprites are quite epic already cos I'm already quite experienced in pixel drawing, especially in anime-style sprites. I used to want a scanner to this but I realised I didn't need it anymore becauise I had improved on making sprites with just Scratch editor.
This is a step by step tutorial of how I create EVERY sprite in Argonith. (The latest version) PLEASE DO NOT STEAL THE SHEEP SPRITE, IT FOR THE PURPOSES OF ARGONITH ONLY)
NOTE: These aren't necessarily the graphics from Argonith, they are a dumbed down version, just incase someone tries to nick them.

I tried this and it looks bad for me :( Do you outline the drawings in dark ink or something?
For the sheep, I just used a HB pencil. It really depends on the brightness of your scanner. You can try taking a picture via your webcam.
(view all replies)I should try that sometime. But did you make like the mountains and water in Argonith like that too? Those are just amazing :D
Which version of Argonith?

Well, this method isn't to everyone's taste. It just works well with Argonith. (Being a kid-based game)
Not to be mean, but this took 3 years?
And no, not this project. This project took a minute to put together and the sheep took five or so minutes to do.
(view all replies)No, not at all! :P The idea has been there for three years, but nothing's really been done about it.
wut is 'Argonith'?
Essentially, yes. :)
