I belive in god and stuff, but I HATE it when people say stuff like "You will die if you don't belive in god". If you belive in god your no better than anyone else. (I'm christian, FYI)

I personally think its in pretty poor taste to use an instrument of torture and excution as a religious symbol. Its not unlike decorating your place of worship with nooses and guillotines - some of them complete with body...
Honestly if you look at it that way, all human symbols can be thought of as something grotesque. Exp. the sun was used in many ancient religions as a symbol, but the sun is immensly hot and people would disenigrate if too close. I'm not christian myself, but people should believe whatever they want to believe.
