I love the transparency in the brush strokes! It shows the canvas below through and makes the paint look a lot realer, how did you do it? I've seen paint programs take velocity as an input to change brush thickness, you should try it out as an extension!
Thanks! I just overlayed (overlaid?) a semi-transparent sprite to create the canvas texture ^^ I made a paint program with velocity once - although it seems like a very long time ago now!
Hey, congratulations on becoming curator! It's great fun if you put up with the spam ;) I've enjoyed quite a few of the ones you've put up so far so good pick! How are you anyway? I've not heard from you in months :P
Are you curator again? If so, you don't have to look at this project but it does deserve to be front paged. It's not mine but I saw it on newest projects and was the first viewer and i was amazed! (link to project)
Hey Wolfie, could you consider this project for curating? It's not mine, but I think it really deserves it! It is Sushi-shot 2 by Walrus 117 (link to project)
Hi Wolfie! Congrats on curator! I Don't mean to give you a request, because I Know you'll probably get 50 requests a day, but can you please curate my "The Labyrinth" Game? Thank you, Wolfie, and Scratch On!
Since your a mod and have been curator a couple times, Im sure you have a great sense of good and bad projects. Any chance you could check out my Scratch quest (part 1) project? And let me know what you do and don't like?
Hi Wolfie, I put your name in this project about Moderater Appreiation Day. I found out you were a moderater so I mentioned you in this. I hope you don't mind. Oh and Thanks for keeping scratch safe. Here's a link of my project... (link to project)
I became a moderator in the Community Moderator elections of May 2010 (elections are held roughly every 4 months, depending on whether there's a need for new moderators or not). There's more in-depth info here: http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Community_Moderators
Aside from all that, this is awesome! The canvas adds to the watercolor feel, but I think it would be cooler if you could mix colors, or that the color thickens if you apply too much of the same color, to make it more realistic :D
Congrats on becoming curator! Seeing as you made an art program, could you consider curating this, a sprite: (link to project) or this, a couple of cool backgrounds? (link to project)
I assure you, you'r time will not be wasted, if you at least take a look please :D
I really like how it's unique with the canvas in the background -- it really makes you feel like you're using water colors or something similar to that.
Thanks :D I'm not sure... I'm animating something for school, so I might put that up when it's finished if I'm happy with it. Otherwise, probably when my school breaks up for summer in July.
Great! I like how the brush follows...and you did the canvas ghost too like I did in mine. do youy mind looking at it and giving your opinion? I just rejoin after leaving Scratch for 3 1/2 years...(new account...) (link to project)
I just noticed the texture stays in front of the pen - because the of the canvas sprite! Very nice. I also tried it downloaded and got to see the Stretch block in action - a very nice effect! But it does make the project act differently in Flash/Java/1.4 Too bad that Stretch isn't supported - it's a fantastic effect.
It's OK - try asking one of the TBG mods to bring it back on one of their projects. I'd help, but I don't have moderator powers on the TBGs ^^ A list of the TBG moderators is available here: (link to wiki)
That's cute :3 And thank you! (also, you spelled it colour in the URL :D :D :D (saying that, though, I've deliberately spelled aeroplane as "airplane" today))
Download the 8 sprites and 15 scripts of "Colour Factory" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
I've actually made a project :O I've had another finished one for about a month, but that doesn't count because I'm not going to upload it.
Anyway, there are 10 colours, 20 brush sizes... pretty self explanatory. Just a drawing thingy really ^^ Download and view full screen for best results and for the stretch blocks to work.
Also - any guesses as to the significance of the names on the brushes? :P

Thank you - although I've seen some other pretty cool ones around :)
this is a really good paint program :) I like the background and the way the colours are slightly faded

Search tic tac toe by capsrockit it's amazing!
Awesome! I just noticed that you can press the red flag, then press the green, and your art is still there!
AWESOME! I really like the fade effect on the canvas. Also, will you please check out my stuff? :D
Hey, congrats on gettin curator :D
Hi Wolfie! Sorry for spamming but I found a project thats worth curating: (link to project) And congratulations on becoming a curator!
Heyyy congrats on being curator :D You'll be great, can't wait to see what you'll curate :)
Thanks, Jonathan! And hi :D
Anyway, may I reccomend this project? (link to project) This person is a really amazing programmer
That's awesome! I'll consider curating one of their project :)
(view all replies)Wow! I didn't know mods were able to be curators.
Indeed we are - most of the other mods have been curators at some point in the past :)
(view all replies)WOW! epic project! Like always!!!!! (Yay! ur curator! good luck and have fun!)
Thank you ^^

Hmm... it should work downloaded... I was considering a remake with colours that thicken - maybe I'll get making that soon :)
(view all replies)But this doesn't work proper when I download...
Congrats on becoming curator! Seeing as you made an art program, could you consider curating this, a sprite: (link to project) or this, a couple of cool backgrounds? (link to project) I assure you, you'r time will not be wasted, if you at least take a look please :D
Awesome artwork! I've got a project of yours that I'm already considering curating at some point, though :)
(view all replies)Check out my scratch computer: (link to project) let me know how you like it! Taking curating suggestions?
Ok, I just made your account curator - should take effect in 1/2 hour or so. Thanks again for agreeing to be curator!
No problem :) I'm looking forward to it!
(link to forums) here is the forum link sorry XD
Does anyone want to join my contest. The forum is her (link to forums) and the project is inside the forum.
I really like how it's unique with the canvas in the background -- it really makes you feel like you're using water colors or something similar to that.
Thank you ^^ I've done something similar before, I think, but I like this one a lot better.
this is so cool!
I LOVE THIS!
Cool! When will you make more projects?
Thanks :D I'm not sure... I'm animating something for school, so I might put that up when it's finished if I'm happy with it. Otherwise, probably when my school breaks up for summer in July.
(view all replies)Awesome - I know it's been said, but it's a great choice having the canvas in the background.
Awwwwwwwwwwwww it's so pretty against the canvas :3
Thank you :3
Great! I like how the brush follows...and you did the canvas ghost too like I did in mine. do youy mind looking at it and giving your opinion? I just rejoin after leaving Scratch for 3 1/2 years...(new account...) (link to project)
*you *rejoined
!!! so many typos lol!

AHEM. I NEED MORE ANSWERS. (link to forums)

Sorry about the irrelevance. :|
I drew Scratch Cat :3 http://img864.imageshack.us/img864/9415/scolourfactory.png Again, nice texture on the paper - I love the effect :D
That's cute :3 And thank you! (also, you spelled it colour in the URL :D :D :D (saying that, though, I've deliberately spelled aeroplane as "airplane" today))
Much better than my DoodlePad. If you want to check it out look here: (link to project) (I don't mean to spam :P just look at the difference)
Yours is actually pretty good - I love the colour indicator :)
Awesome! I love how you use the stretch blocks!
Thank you - glad you enjoyed the project :)
like!
Thank you!
The stretch makes the brush look 3D, and the texture on the background looks great! :D
Thank you ^^ I decided to add the stretch for just that reason :D
