Dude, you may have been on longer than I have, b... well, I'm not good with making my own sprite animation. I just use sprites from Spriters-resource.com (most of the time) for sprite animation.
Well, that is your opinion, but your right that it's more for sprite-based movies. Anyway, I'm making an "Ultimate Video Game Showdown" project. In it you'll see fights between Bowser and Rock Lee, Kirby vs. Falco, it'll be like super smash bros.
Oldschooler2: That may be so, but I to tell the truth, its not really the gaming aspects of scratch that interests me rite now. I'm acshualy more into the sprite animation aspect of scratch. If you really think about it, Scratch is perfect for sprite based movies. Besides, have you looked at the code for this sucker? You may be suprised. Its more complicated then you would think.
And I know more stuff than you do about Scratch games. Or at least, stuff like gravity and scrolling. I don't know if you know how to do either/both. PS I know Rapa Nui is the indigenous term for Easter Island :P

I did better! Still haven't made it past level 1 but I caught some fish...
Here's a hint for level 1: you need to get your population to 100. Build them houses (chop trees) while keeping the gods happy (by making Moi). You'll need to catch fish for your people to keep the population from dwindling.
Well, I managed to make a house and an Easter Island type head! So that's progress, but I still died off. Really nice game but I need more help, maybe when you're more awake.
