Download the 14 sprites and 47 scripts of "Wii Play: Laser Pong" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Instructions:
Use the mouse to move that paddle. It will atomatically point toward the ball. Try to get the ball into the other persons goal. First Person to eight wins. Because you have the advantage of being inteligent (I Hope! :P), Each goal the CPU scores counts as two.
FAQ:
Q: You do realize that there are glitches right?
A: Yes I do. If you know how to fix them, Please tell me how and I will do so Right away. Other than that I can do nothing about them.
Q: The Original Game was called Laser Hockey. Why is yours called Laser Pong?
A: I called it that because it felt much more like a Pong game to me being that the enemy has limited movement.

Most people on scratch think pong is where you try to bounce a ball into blocks
I might make this into the original. It seems like it is the original, but I could delete the wii play title and fix glitches.

there's the glitch where the ball bounces along the wall and doesn't stop. One of my best games had that exact glitch and I could not figure out how to get rid of it (I'd actually suggest you look at that game; it's pretty good) anyway, nice game!

This is a great game, but there are glitches. The ball keeps going out of the field, and when it does it never comes back, or it counts it as 2 points for the cpu. This needs some working on, but I love it anyway.

I like this, but it is slow, and you could make it way simpler if it was just the edge bouncing but it looks REALLY GOOD

but why is it called lasur pong in the game?
In this game just because it reminds me of a advanced pong game. In the actual wii game it is called laser hockey. I don't know the origins of that name. :)

*aspects* (doh) I mean scores
Graphics-8- it is colourful and the presentation is good, it is just a bit empty Sound-3- only 1 sound, background music might be nice Control-8- good idea for the use of the mouse instead of the wii remote (which I do not have anyway!). Touch-9- Nice polishing Overall-8.5- very good. This is not the average (7). The reason I use overall instead of the average is that people will not use all aspects as a major part of the game, and it would be unfair on thier score if I count that. Check forums

The problem is is that whenever you score, you and the cpu gets a point, and when the cpu scores on you, nothing happens.
Fixed it.
Hma ntoehr glitch I just noticed was that it does not update the computers score untill you score if they score, that ones an easy fix, and in the notes you said the cpu gets 2 points if thye score, they're only getting 1 point.
Its a great idea, but sorry to say it's not one of the your best projects. Quite glitchy.
I fixed most of the glitches thanks to some amazing help from Tharvoil.

Hm the project idea is great you did a good job replicating the game, one of the glitches I notice however is that when you hit the ball if you move it more than about 5 pixels towards the ball it will spin the ball off at a random angle, and it happened to spin it into my goal a couple times=p
That sounds great. I also Know what I did to mess up the scores, I will fix that shortly.
