This is the classic Super Mario Brothers in World one of the first ever adventure. Travel and explore these four levels that increase in difficulty as you go through.
Unfortunatly, I was not able to put any Goombas or Koopas in due to a major increase in lag. Neither Mushrooms could be added either. However there is Bowser At the End.
If you know these first few levels pretty well, you might find some of the surprises in this game as well. *cough* Warp...*cough*.
The Controls are the same as usual. Arrow keys to move, Up arrow key to jump, down arrow key to...You'll Find out.

How do you make a scrolling game
The engine rocks! Is it ok if I add on to this and add sound and more costumes and maybe even another level?
Of course!. However, I would make it your first priority to get rid of the sinking glitch. Just some advice. :D Good luck.

Fell through the ground as soon as I took a step backwards. Otherwise very good game. One very hard to answer question: how did you become so good and popular at scratch? There are a lot of people with amazing games who deserve more credit. Please answer!
It does, especially tags like mario, music, nintendo... Things that people would search for.
(view all replies)By advertising I meant two things: One, create a new topic in the forums section "Show+Tell" Only there. Two, add you projects to any galleries that relate to it. Any at all. But make sure that they are wanted. If the comments say Club only or somthing, don't add to it. Tagging also helps.All of the tags to "8-bit mario" are mine. It really helps.

Unfortuantly, that is a glitch with the Java player. Try downloading it, no glitches then. :)

TheSaint, I think in the original game, the clouds moved slower than the rest of the scrolling background. I.e. it was probably something like (translated into scratch) "goto x: scroll x *0.7 + 480*terrain y:whatever). Still, nice work.
Yeah, I never really played the original game. Still, my biggest problem is the falling through.

Glitch on Instant Scratch: If you don't move, you will fall, which is very hard to do.
this game is very glitchy if u dont download it, so i did. people stop posting comments saying glitchy
it is a lot less glitchy when you download it, but occasionally you still fall through the floor. Still, it's an amazing game.

I actually got these from the Spriters Resource. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
He probably got them out htere on google images etc.Or imported them from Mario Dics etc.
There seems to be some kind of glitch in that I keep falling trough the floor. Some kind of design problem, or an online problem?
