no, only with Height as 0. You see the maximum distance for h=0 always is at 45 degrees. If you increase the height, then the answer will also decrease
At first i dint get it, but now I do! The Scripting is rly great and i love the way it aculay looks like its under gravidy! Coungrats on being features(might be monday or tuesday0)
Really cool! You should probably make a hidden variable for each height, initial velocity, and angle though. They would be set to the sliders' values at the start of the run, and then be used in the calculations. Right now the path gets messed up if you change the variables mid-flight.
A simulation representing the paths that projectiles take under the influence of gravity.
Also added the Final velocity, Final angle and height (Height allows you to change original height of Ball).
PLUS , A FEATURE CALLED AUTO.
To use auto, Set the values of initial velocity and height.Wait for 5 minutes until the message "ANSWER FOUND" is shown.
Once the message is displayed, the maximum possible distance for that initial velocity and height will be shown in "max d" and The angle for which the maximum distance is attained is shown in "Max. d angle"
Have fun and do comment about any upgrades you have made or want to have here.

height 100, velocity 60, and angle 52 seems to work really well.
i know :D
if you do height-100 initial velocity-60 and angle-56.8 it goes super far! :D
SWEET!
ABSOLUTELY. I DONT MIND AT ALL IF YOU ADD IT TO YOUR GALLERY. AFTER ALL ITS MY OWN PUBLICITY !!
THX
(view all replies)um, just to let you know, auto is always going to end up with the answer 45.

I'll work and improve on it SOON
** HELP ME MAKE A OFFLINE GALLERY: scratch.mit.edu/projects/Daffy22/1181328 **
the angel is ALLWAYS 45
For height=0, the MAX d angle will always be 45. Increasing the height will reduce the max d angle.(BTW, you are using AUTO and not RUN)
sorry-only with high 0
ball thrower? sounds so wrong
NAH...... Ball thrower would be better
(view all replies)have you thought of any name?

YEAH I know that. But I'm considering adding new features. So I'll make the changes only after that. Also I dont want a very complicated script
