It seems like there are a lot of Speak-Ups warning you about global warming. However, does the thing really exist? Here are my opinions on the planet's supposed heating. I hope not to offend a single soul.
EDIT: Oops, the Arctic doesn't have more ice than before, it's the Antarctic. HOWEVER, the way the theory went, BOTH of them would have less ice, so my point's still proven.

Although I personally wouldn't have put in religion, you do have many good points and theories. At this point I don't know what to believe! Honestly, even if global warming doesn't exist, it doesn't hurt to cut down on gas use and plant more trees. These help us in the long run anyway! So, basically, I support your message. (view all replies)And IF the sea does rise like everyone thinks, it's not as if it's going to rise dramatically. Remember, water expands when it freezes, so ice becomes smaller when melted. This means that the sea should hardly rise. In fact it should go down... Anyway, back to the natural cycle stuff. Temperatures have been alot higher in the past and do you see a drowned earth. No. In the stone ages, the average temperature was about 50 degrees centigrade. I have more, but that'll do for now. I rest my case.
I haven't even watched this yet but i agree. Global warming is a MASSIVE hoax to make money. think about it. the government want us to pay for our carbon emmisions! It's obviously the earth is going through it's natural cycle again! DUH! And everyone blame this so called "Global Warming" on poor old CO2. I mean, what did CO2 ever do to you. Besides, the amount of carbon dioxied (CO2) in the atmosphere is TINY! About 0.00002%! (Continued on next comment)

I agree with this. The Earth may be just going through a climate change. If the Ice Age happened to us THIS age, we'd probably assume something's gone wrong and think of our best hypothosis for the change. I'm not saying that we have no part in adding to it, but I think that's what I think.

Um... God made the world perfectly where the pants kept a great balance of carbon dioxide and oxygen. We sinned and everything pretty much went wrong so WE caused this.

Al Gore isn't that great. Half his original speech about global warming was about how he is the "former future president of the United States", and my former debate teacher who is a real expert can think of a rock solid excuse for every one of his examples. Um the earth is NOT being pulled closer to the sun,its the ozone layer being broken down by Carbon dioxide,letting the harmfull UV lightas from the sun down to earth.
(view all replies)Global Warming is not a myth,global warming is caused by the carbondioxide that we are throwing into the atmosphere by breathing out,smoke from factorys and exhouat fumes from cars. Plants are suppossed to breath in the carbon dioxide like oxygen to us then expel oxygen for us,but since plants are being killed and cut down,the little thatg remaines cant soak up enough carbondioxide so it escapes to the ozone layer and damages it,then everything starts all over again.
What do you want us to do, stop breathing? No offence.

Let me give you an example: Lets say the heist ice tops on earth is 100 meters above sea level. Peter lives in an area that is 50 meters above sea level an me on a heir place like 450 meters above sea level. The icebergs melt and the sea level rises like 89 meters heir then usual. Peter is lower then 89 meters then sea level, so he drown. Me not,
