Controls:
Arrow Keys for movement
Spacebar for attack
Hit enemy ships with your photon beam [SPACEBAR] to refill your steadily depleting energy. Energy drops automatically over time, and when you fire the beam.
Maneuver [ARROW KEYS] to avoid enemy ships and beams. They destroy your ship and cost you energy to reform.
How long can you last? Earn the highest score you can by shooting as many enemies as possible before your energy runs out. To try again, restart [MOUSE CLICK THE GREEN FLAG OR PRESS X].

SWEET, I got 10, it was sort of hard because you don't know where there coming from and if you hold spacebar to keep attacking but you keep attacking and can't move for a while when you relese spacebar.:D

i concider your reasoning correct. you should only use the DG games logo on your new projects. oh, and you can change the logo to anything you want except for the dg letters. my new dark cycle demo has a good example of that.
i got 21.i wasnt sure if you got my last message or not. you ARE now a DG GAMES member. thanks for joining. im ok with you not working on scratch alot, but i was wondering if you could upddate this game with the DG GAMES SYMBOL. the only BIG rule in DG GAMES is that you have to use our symbol in your games.
I do appreciate that our members advertise for each other, but I'm not comfortable with the idea of putting the DG logo in a game I made before joining DG. It feels like misrepresenting the game's background. I'd be happy to advertise my affiliation with DG, but I don't want to make it seem like Photon Cage has anything to do with DG, since it doesn't. I hope you understand. If you feel this isn't acceptable from a DG member, then perhaps DG and I aren't a good fit for each other.

Thank you! I really wanted to go for quality with this. Don't worry about your score though. A lot of people have played this game and got all kinds of scores. You might be interested in my Sonic Seek game too. It doesn't have the same kind of polish as Photon Cage, but I love the idea of it.

(view all replies)No worries! 14 isn't bad, and you can always improve. Some people just go crazy and sweep the screen with the beam. Somehow, that gets them high score (better than mine). Personally, I play very carefully. I stay defensive and dodge until I can see a spot where I can hit 2 or 3 guys with 1 shot (to save energy).

It's a bit hard but awesome!
A "bit" hard? Hehe. I think it's VERY hard. I can't believe the people who score over 100. It's good to hear people are enjoying it. I still have a lot of fun playing this game myself.
