I don't have a religion, not an organized one anyway... Does that make me bad? I still believe in God and everything! I just haven't found a religion that I think has all the answers... I think that all of them have a small % of what really happened, but nothing has all of it... Am I a bad person?

Well, actually it is possible to be a Christian still. The one thing wrong with believing in both evolution and God is that you have to trust what God says first. If God says somewhere in the Bible that evolution is real, please point it out to me! ;) Try reading the Bible, in Genesis, and see what God tells you! :)
If you believe so vehemently in the old testement, why do you not follow the rules of behaviour laid down therein? In you own words - try reading the Bible and see what god tells you.
(view all replies)God did not create evolution. In the bible, God created things, but evolution says that everything was created by chance. You have to believe the bible to be a Christian, so if you believe evolution, you are not a Christian.
Also, Evolution does NOT say everythign was created by chance.

exactly. scratch is a kid thing and kids need to learn about God. I'm a kid too, but i have learned about how evolution isn't true.

And YES! God loves everyone! It is Easter Sunday which is the day Jesus rose from the dead after he gave his life for us. He did this to forgive us of our sins so we could go to heaven. Do you think he would die for all the sinners in this world if he didn't love them?
Very happy! In 2 Corinthians 9:6 Jesus says that the more you give, the more you get back. God provides for anyone when they need it, no doubt. It's like a story. No matter what happens in the story, theres always a happy ending.

Jesscookie, yes, I believe that if you do not love God, He still loves you. And... about the old lady, God can do anything. He probably gave to her what she needed to survive. I am not sure about that, though... because it does not say in the Bible what happened to her after she gave her money.

And it also should bring love to people's hearts also. I believe that doing something small like this can plant a seed in people's hearts. Some Christians make mistakes and try to shove the truth down people's throats, but that is unloving and just hurts others. God commands us to show love in every way. I am not perfect like Jesus is, but I strive to be as close to him and as much like him as possible. Thank you everybody once again for all the wonderful coments! :)
Thanks ffred! I'm sorry you don't believe in God of couse, but you are right. That is what I was trying to get out, and you put it in exact words. However, the main goal of this project is to bring people to God or closer than they are. No matter what you read in the coments section, do not forget the main topic of the project.
You have made a simple presentation of a well known biblical tale and it was the trigger to begin discussing issues much more important and serious, as we can see by the comments down below. No matter if you believe or not. That is a will which is born inside you for your own benefit. What is beautiful, what is worth is the way we can argue with each other. You speak with love. Others spoke with hate. You win! I don’t care if God exists or not. Actually, I don’t believe in God, too; but I´m a polite man, melt in the occidental culture. Keep on building stories that make man talk each other. Thank you. I love it.
