Part C of a Traffic Light simulation used as a Scratch tutorial. Press Green flag and then spacebar to view outcome. This version introduces sprite movement and sending messages from one sprite to another. Get the children to edit the stage background and make a road with a crossing. Show them how to shrink the lights sprite and move it around. Add in a person or character and use the glide command to make it move (or make a simple repeat/move loop) Advanced students should be able to go on to add other elements, e.g red/flashing green person.
