Use WASD to move your character around. Click near your character to create a block, press Q near your character to delete a block. Press E to cycle through block types. To delete a ladder place a normal block on it then delete that block.

This is awesome. Better than awesome. Amazing. Although it could use Mobs, health, day & night, etc. it is fine. By the way, I'm close friends with someone, and he does want to start making Iphone/Ipodtouch apps.. Is it okay if I ask them to make an app adaptation of this, except with day/night cycles, monsters.. etc.?

Why can't you break the block underneath you?
The way I did block placement validation is also used for block removal so any time a grid space is colliding with the character a block can't be placed or removed. If you jump you can remove it midair.

This is pretty good but you could put something inside the blocks so you can pick it up when you destroy it. Then you could put a store or something. Other than that this game rocks!
That would be...like....SO HARD. I have a game like this, Its complicated, cause the blocks arent sprites; but just stamps. So you would need a complex list.

You can add day and but,when you clear a grid square,and it stamps the background color,when the background changes from light to dark the stamped color would have to change to the newly changed background color.
its its beutiful. the best thing i saw in ages. my goals with it is save data,bigger word,monsters \, and animals. problely TNT to.(love the griafers toolbox mwahh haha)
