Yeah, this is a result of Scratch's lack of full keyboard support. 'uppercase' 2 is 'shift' 2 which gives quotes, but @ isn't on a recognised key in Scratch. SB
That would be difficult, but possible. It would have to remove the half on the previous line and rewrite the whole word on the seconds line which would slow things up. It would be very easy to add a dash in the break though. What did you try to do?
great! i saw the other one (made by some other user) rather than pushing backspace, if you have a long set of text to delete, use the arrow keys to go to the first letter you want to delete, and then press space, and hold it until the text is deleted. then use the arrow keys to go where you want to type and voila done!
ScratchPad is a simple text program which can produce almost all keyboard characters including capitals and special characters, allows you to insert and write over text, and save text to an infinite* memory.
SB *this is constrained by Scratch’s memory
New features: Backspace - Delete text by clicking the backspace button Insert text - Insert midway through the text by pressing the insert button Move freely - Move through the text using the arrow keys Caps symbol - A little symbol shows in the bottom right when caps lock is on. and numerous other code improvements and enhancements.

better than the last one! still, I CAN'T USE A FULL STOP! (.)
Nice bug fixes! Ca'nt find anything wrong except that "Thank you" is not spelled "Thankyou".
Interesting, an uppercase 2 makes quotes, but to get the @ symbol you have to manually click the button...

no, I can because how you have it built, someone should make it so words don't cut in half at the edge of the screen.

Wow. Amazing. I tried to do scratchtext, but that failed miserably. This though, is simply amazing.
Thanks for your support :) What went so wrong with yours? SB
