very, very, very, very, VERY exellent! apart from the fact you forgot to put a full stop button! still, it's very prfessional and VERY cool. fave and loveit.
To get capitals, press up and the letter you want. Backspace is done using the left arrow (go back and type over something) and punctuation can be found in the menus or by pressing down (.) or right (,)
Thanks. The task got a lot easier once lists were introduced (before I had very long variables to store lots of letters). Have a look at the new version (scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587)
This is, by far, the best scratch-made word processor I have EVER seen. And let me tell you, I've seen a lot. But none can hold a candle to this one! Phenominal!
ScratchPad (Beta 1.0) has been replaced by ScratchPad (Beta 1.1) (link to project)
ScratchPad is a simple text program which can produce almost all keyboard characters including capitals and special characters, allows you to write over existing text and save text to a (theoretically*) infinite memory. Read the instructions page or press the '?' in the corner for help.
SB *this is constrained by Scratch’s memory(shift is the up-arrow)

Whao...
Can I use it in one of my projects
cool!
Sorry, I was on sph12's account when I left that comment. Just ignore it. I DO want to put in my OS though.
Could I put it in my Operating System?
Talented...
Thanks. There's also an improved version (Beta 1.1) (link to project)
(view all replies)No Shift?!
Due to Scratch's lack of keyboard support, the 'up arrow' serves as shift for !"£$%^&*() other special characters can be found in the menus.
The best text processor on scratch- but my computer makes it a little glitchy.
Thanks, you might find the latest version works better. scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587
GREAT!
This is the best text editor I've seen on Scratch - very professional!
Thanks, this one has now been eclipsed by a newer version (scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587)
how about some sort of backspace?
In theory you can use the left arrow to go back and type over something. This works better in the newer version. scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587
PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE COMPLICATED VARIABLES!
very, very, very, very, VERY exellent! apart from the fact you forgot to put a full stop button! still, it's very prfessional and VERY cool. fave and loveit.
Thank you, there is in fact a full stop which can be obtained by pressing the down key.
(view all replies)professional looking!
wow
wow. No wonder this is featured.
Thanks. I'm glad you said that, I haven't been on Scratch in a while and wondered why I suddenly had so many comments (81!).
(view all replies)Cool!
Youmy friend, are a genius! :D
You're very kind :)
(view all replies):D
this would be good in an OS.
I made an OS in Scratch once but it was too slow to be any good, if every 'program' was as complex as this then it would hardly work at all.
Very awesome!!!!!!! Very cool!!! My sincere congratulations! Great job!!!!
Thank you very much.
awesome..but cant anyone make this? >.<
Of course, that's the wonder of Scratch :)
Oh wow this is cool
I STILL GAVE YOU THE LOVE IT
THIS GAME IS KINDA COOL AND KINDA DUMB BUT I LIKE IT ANYWAY
This isn't really a game, more of an example of what can be done with Scratch. I'm glad you still like it.
Cools. Needs a backspace but awesome all the same :)
There is a backspace-ish feature, you can use the left arrow to go back and type over something. This works better in the newer version. scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587
This is DUMB
Why do you say that?
Cool!
how could I know?? I can't even play it!!:(
It's not really meant to be played, try the newer version, it might work better for you. scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587
keeeeewwwl!
cool
COOL!
pritty cool
very cool
aaaaahhhhhhsome!
Very Very VERY Awesome
Really great project! Although how do you make a question mark?
Nevermind :) you added that it the next version I see :).
I can't get it to capitalize, backspace, or punctuate. :(
To get capitals, press up and the letter you want. Backspace is done using the left arrow (go back and type over something) and punctuation can be found in the menus or by pressing down (.) or right (,)
(view all replies)something glitchy happened when i was using it. I think i pressed left and 1 at the same time and then the 1 kept moving keft! very good though!
Thanks for telling me about the bug. This has been fixed in the latest version (scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587)
WOAH
(link to project) please enter!!!
This is a very good project. I'd like to see this remade if Scratch ever does allow incorporation of all keys into a project.
Thanks. If we ever get full keyboard support I definately will.
A word processor is one of the hardest things to do on Scarcth, and you nailed it!
Thanks. The task got a lot easier once lists were introduced (before I had very long variables to store lots of letters). Have a look at the new version (scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587)
Nice job!
Needs a delete!
it keeps on repating the letters >:(
That bug has been fixed in the latest version (scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587)
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
awwwwwwwwwesome
Cool! Great processor!
Wow this is nice!
you cant do ß∂ƒ©˙∆˚¬¡™£¢∞§¶••ªº–´®†¥¨ˆ
You can do £, but other than that you're right. In a later version I might add some more characters, but I think we have all we need right now.
lets see you have that in a project with all other characters.
When i wrote the word passi acedentally hit space after the p. LOLZ XP
Ouch... Big glitch: (for me, at least) "files" 1 and 2 make "A" "B" and "C" come out as "1" "2" and "3".
This is, by far, the best scratch-made word processor I have EVER seen. And let me tell you, I've seen a lot. But none can hold a candle to this one! Phenominal!
Thank you very much :) Have you look at the newest one? I've heard it's even better (scratch.mit.edu/projects/ScipioBellorum/612587)
cool
sweet!
pretty good but you need a better back space system
Thanks, this one is a bit buggy I know, but the newer version is a lot better (link to project)
Really cool....On my gallery now.
Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out.
glitch! if you hit the left arrow, it goes back, but while it goes back you can still type and it glitches mixing up with the other letters.
Thanks for the tip, a newer (fixed) version of ScratchPad can be found here (link to project)
(view all replies)glitch you type say "HI" and then if it starts agian it will say "Thankyou for using scratchpad!HI"
