UPDATE: Fixed a glitch that made Goombas not go away when they die.
Okay, a few changes in this new version. First, I've added lava to the castles. Second, Bowser can now shoot fire, making him harder to beat.
This is my Mario game developed in Scratch. It's the best Mario game I've seen so far in Scratch, and uses an area system to overcome the one-screen limitations of Scratch. This also allows me to reuse sprites over and over again.
In this game, you go through a series of screens to get to Bowser and defeat him. There are 8 screens, making it a fairly long game (for Scratch). You can jump on Goombas to kill them, but if you get hit from the sides you die. You can't kill Piranha Plants, and there's only one special way to kill Bowser (people who played the original SMB1 should know it).

glitch! on the 4th screen i died from the goomba and then die imediatly when i respawned. also why dont you just use scrolling?

ONe glitch I found was that you could walk up yhe pipes and die on accident. Great game though!!!

there is a glitch where i just went in a pipe like not going down one
lol one goomba walked off an edge and another goonba squished itself

GLICTH (SPOILER):when you get to the part when it shows the hole with the pipe in the middel just keep walking and you might find the glitch.
IF you want to get in the castel pass it and ur in the creepy castle

AWSOME GLITCH NOTE:YOU know how they always make it day time well it dont have to be day ttime!all ya have to do is when ur in the ccastle click the flag to start again.ya know how the castle is dark an spooky n stuff itll stay black when you start over!

GLITCH NOTE:When you jump move till you reach a pipe and you will float!
ONE GLITCH INFO:When you stand by a pipe and stay there for a few secsonds and press the space bar you start floating and stay there,NOTE:keep pressing the space bar and you will float,OTHER NOTE:You cant float above the pipe.
Heres how you beat bowser. get to the ax. jump on it. Bowser=DEAD!!!
