This is a new scrolling method which allows for 4-directional scrolling using only 4 sprites. It does this by using variables to track the position of each sprite instead of by using the X position/Y position commands.

Ok, you make a script on the enemies saying if variable x = whatever you want it to appear at+ variable y = whatever show easy!

Wierd, its another program I can't download. It says "Do you want to save this file? Name: download Tyoe: Unknown File Type, 2.09 MB From: scratch.mit.edu [save] [cancel]" Yet I just want to open it.
you save and then you open. i think it's a firefox thing.

(view all replies)I recently logged on, and saw I had 265 messages. I couldn't help but turn that 2 in my mind to an S. I thought it said "You have S65's messages" when I first looked at it. Probably the funnies thing I ever thought I saw!

This uses costume indexing, so that you can make it so that you have a whole level made in just a bunch of costumes spread across 4 sprites. No one had done that before, I think.
