Nicely done! It amazes me how all this complicated behavior takes place in each little cell. I love to see Scratch being used for something other than games...not that games aren't fun and educational, but Scratch can do so much more!
hehe, that would be nice! This project was actually an extra credit project; I made it to raise my mitosis report's grade from and A to an A+. My class is over now, and I am on summer vacation, but I'm sure my teacher would be happy. :)
This is a very nice science project, very educational and well organized. I am starting a series of Galleries that will be course-based, for the purpose of helping educators bring Scratch into their schools. One of the topics discussed at the conference last week was that many educators cannot see the practical use of Scratch in school, so I want to use the galleries to show Scratch's possibilities. This would be a great example for the science gallery.
Good idea - there are many ways to use Scratch for education. My brother used it for his science project once, you can add that to your galleries too, if you want to. (link to project)

I thought it was very well done, but it reminded me too much of power point.

Thank you! It amazes me too - biology is fascinating! Making this project helped me remember mitosis much better than reading in a book would have.

Lol, I learned this stuff this year

Cool. :) What grade are you in?

That's cool! Our biology teacher really liked DNA and enzymes. So your about the same age as me; all my friends are going into 8th grade too.

lol, that's weird. We didn't get to dissect much, unfortunately.

Umm, does your biology class give extra credit for your project being featured?

:-O Hope is featured?? I must go look! but this project is was just for extra credit in my biology class; I doubt it would be featured...

and it is missing a lot of the steps in mitosis. I didn't want to draw them all... :P

I know. I saw it. :)

I like this! My favorite part of the cell cycle is cytokinesis, though!

BTW, u 4got the early prophase, late anaphase, and late telophase (actually, the first two don't matter much)

I didn't forget them. I just kind of squashed them.

I don't think it is, as long as you don't try to take credit for it.
