I have noticed that American people whom draw the manga and anime style have really Americanized it so to speak. Have you seen Dramacon? The person who does that is American and it shows. I am not quite sure what it is, I am going to presume it's the fact that we don't see something anime/manga related on every corner. But Americans just draw manga strangely. So I would give Katy Coope credit, at least, for trying.
X3 Coolio~! Im working on animations for idema10, a pic of Rem, and fanart for my friend who does CatenA. Blah, I dont know where to start first DX (http://catena.smackjeeves.com/ <--- What do you think of her comic? It's pretty good, right? X3 Im aspiring to draw like her)
Oh, I havent seen/read Dramacon. ^^ Yea, I got to agree with you how american people who try to draw manga have it ending up to be pretty americanized. ._.' Im an example to that X3
(Oh yea.. I havent heard from you in a while ^^ Are you doing well?)
fuuny lilo8stitch and I both "started" with Katy Coope as well. Have you tried her second book? better than the first, sorta. Technically I started from the first manga I ever read, Amazing Agent Luna...your stuff reminds me of FLCL :)
Cool ^^ Ive tried her second book~ She really got me hooked onto manga and I have to thank her for that X3 Uhm.. I think my first manga was Crescent Moon. Thanks :D Fooly Cooly is awesome O3O It's on my manga/animes to watch ^^
Thanks~! (By the way: There's some animations for you if you download it DX I dont know if they're good or not ._.. Ill have to chat with you on warp world)

It's kinda confusing to say when I started to draw manga ._. I started to draw it when I was a kid (maybe 7?) from Katy Coope's book How to Draw Manga. Bleh. I hadnt even read or seen manga/anime before two years ago. If you have seen Katy Coope's book, it's really not traditional manga? I dont know DX It's weird.. I cant explain.. Maybe it is traditional or regular manga, or maybe it isnt? Blech, idk. DX (in my opinion). My stuff back from a year ago looked really horrible >_>
So Im not sure what to say of how long ive been drawing manga for. Was I drawing manga back then when I had not have even read or seen manga/anime (but had read her book)? DX
