I took Keith's fine "Cat of Another Color" project and decided to make it too complicated for kids. Actually, that wasn't my goal...just my result :)
What I wanted to do was:
1) Have the slider show the color number when a color name was typed in
2) Simplify the controls by removing C and S
3) Add more recognized color names
4) Have the cat give an error when the color was not recognized
I got carried away as usual and added in "rainbow" as a color and made it so that the arrow keys could be used to fine-tune the color number.

I have an idea! an "add a color" feature where you can set the color and add it to a list of colors which stores the name and the color number...
Nice thought! That would be a cool feature :)
it knows "aqua" not "cyan"...
I got tired of putting in colors :)
this is a terrific remix! The arrowkey addition and the simplifying as well as the adding the colors is terrific! - I'm honored! ( so the rainbow has me thinking about ways to play with that idea)
Glad you like it...I almost added "plaid" as a color...but that would have required costume changes and would have seriously deviated from the design intent :)
