Clicking on the Stage will send a Reproduce command to all living spiders. They will attempt to duplicate themselves, if they are not currently fighting.
If there are not enough spiders left in the spider pool for them to reproduce themselves, they will wait until spiders become available. You can freeze the game if you click too many times in a row and exhaust the spider pool to the point where all spiders are trying to reproduce and no spiders are dying to replenish the spider pool. If this happens, Green Flag will reset the game.
Each spider has the same exact scripts so if you think your computer can handle it, you can increase the spider pool by copying any of the spiders as many times as you like.

Well, thanks, bigB! I didn't go out of my way to advertise this...I didn't think it would be of general interest, not having a lot of game play value. Thanks for your kind words though!

Ah! I see what you are sayin now! Sure, that makes sense...I always figured that spiders like that had a heart attack or something, but it could be suicide!

(view all replies)I got 1 spider left :). But than, i downloaded and got 0..... i displayed one of the variables (spider speed) and the last spider hit the variable letters (which are black) and started fighting it... than it died, lol
Killed by a variable display! How cruel! That's pretty funny! I've had the last two spiders manage to kill each other at the same time and ended up with zero spiders too. That's pretty unlikely as well!
Very good! I'm impressed with the results. Of course as a computer science professor, I would prefer to see a lot less redundancy, but I certainly can't quarrel with the results. As time goes on, I may post additional challenges.
