Yes, Paddle, the pieces are freely moved by any order to any place, so, no matter what the schema is, there are several ways to achieve the solution. I remember that in my youth I had a method to be succed with this game. Unfortunatly I can remember it no more. So, some times I cannot surpasse the situation you reported; but, yes, it is solvable. I wonder if we could ask this question to “Ninja Squirrel” who has commented in my project that he is master of this game because he has training a lot with an old his mother's game.
No, nothing happens when you solve it. It would be nice if something did (fireworks maybe?). Maybe you could make a remix....Oh, BTW, schema 6 is definitly solveable (I did it awhile back) and I have reports that schema 2 has been solved (Richyrich105).
And just making sure that you don't have to do the reverse, that doesn't work either:

Well, I spent about an hour on Schema 10 and didn't get any further than you did. Maybe we should take this discussion up with ffred - he's the original author.
I've gotten that close too, a number of times. I've also solved it a couple of times. I see you were working on Schema 10, in the example you sent me. I'll make a version of the game that always plays Schema 10 and I'll see if I can solve it. I'll let you know how I do.
Thecooltodd - I actually didn't design this program, I just made it so you could move more than one block at a time. However, I'm pretty sure the game picks from a set of pre-made starting points (the schema number at the top tells you which one) so there shouldn't be any impossible configurations. That being said, I've had a lot of trouble solving some of these to.
Question, did you make the program shuffle it or randomly generate the board? Because if the board is randomly generated there will be unsolvable positions. So right now either I don't know how to do these anymore, or there is some way to switch 23 and 24 if they are swapped. And I'm pretty sure swapping the position of two pieces is impossible.
The radar project you had a brief look at..and left a comment has a few strange bugs in it in the respects of showing or not reacting how they are suppose.. to eg sensor or broadcast goes awry somewhere..
and yes i know small canoes and small aircraft at low altitude can get under radar ok...
just wondered if you had used the scratch sensor board .. and or whether it is possible to create a robot type thing which is controlled by the same sensors as the board in the scratch program but done by wireless usb connection such as bluetooth..
just wondering..
I have made a reflex tester for my school science project. Could you please try it? I need to get as many people to do it as possible, so I have enough information. If you could help, that would be great! Thanks. :)

good project well i think
[respond form my game]Good job :D you just got fooled.those was computers pretending to be player.please don't tell everyone/anyone.
nice remix. btw, the way you change the name and not change the comments is:
1: you must be logged in (obviously)
2: When you are viewing the game, click on the name to change it.
Note: you can do this with the project notes also
Everything is perfect to me Paddle. This kind of cooperation is beautiful. I hope another scratcher take the present project and carry it on better and better as I did with the plastic game someone invented many years ago. We are all members of the same team.
I haven't done a whole lot with 3D. I've been holding off until I have arrays and matrices at my disposal. 3D gets a lot easier once you have matrices to perform the transformations. It would be a good challenge though. I just think it's beyond me at this point.
thats nonsense about rubix cube being harder.I can solve the rubix cube in 3 minutes but this thing, this thing is far out of my limits. I do agree with you in terms of it would be more fun and 3D but it would be fairly hard to make don't you think? :)
wonder if you could expand the puzzle theme.. i have lurking around a plastic.. colour puzzle version of this type of game and a rubik's cube..
i think a 3dimensional puzzle game might be challenging?
This is a remix of ffred's wonderful project Kubric2D. I have improved it by allowing you to move more than one square at a time.
THE IDEA
At the beginning, you have a 5x5 grid with 24
desordered numbers and an empty cell to where
you can push one of the numbers around it.
Then, you go on pushing numbers to the empty
cells till all the numbers become ordered and the
empty cell remains at the very bottom rigth place.
INSTRUCTIONS
Click the green flag and the Scratch will choose one of ten hidden schemas which number is shown
on the top right of the display. Then, you click the
numbers as you like to achieve the aim above.
NOTES
There are 25 sprites defined in this project.
If you enjoyed the game, visit http://softfred.pt.vu from where you may download "Dança" and "Baile" which has more schemas similars to these ten.

I guess so, since your screenshot of schema2 shows it with the same two reversed adjacent square problem we have been running in to.
