Download the 4 sprites and 13 scripts of "Off-Road Rally" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Imagine your mouse is a hand on the top of a steering wheel. You move your hand left - the car turns left. Move right and the car turns right.
The gear shift is the mouse button - click it repeatedly to shift between forward, stop and reverse. There's a little yellow arrow on top of the car to show which gear it is in.
The higher the mouse is held on the screen (from the bottom edge) the faster the car goes...so start out low on the screen.
Your objective...collect the five flashing packages as fast as you can!
Note: I'm no longer tracking top speeds

Hey, Paddle2See. Thanks for the comment. You were right, the control scheme in my Kite Master (link to project) game is exactly like yours! Except you can't stop a kite. Thanks for the link and I definitely enjoyed Off-Road Rally. I like how you lay down the tire tracks. That adds a lot. I don't have time to look right now but I imagine you did that with a stamped sprite? One other thing, how did you get the line breaks in your project notes?
Yeah, that's a stamping sprite, as I recall. To get line breaks in your project notes, you have to edit them on the website. Just click in them and then click on the Okay button and any line breaks that were in your original notes are restored.

hi paddle im in need of help see im working on a game but there is a glitch i cant fix were the ball goes through the bat any advy

This is really unrelated, but I was just able to completely access a project made by someone on my ignore list. Are the ignore lists just not working, or is something else going on?
I don't think putting someone on your ignore list keeps you from accessing their projects...it just keeps you from seeing their comments and tags on your projects. I could be wrong though...maybe you could post your issue to the Troubleshooting forum and we could get more eyes on it?

How do you control?
Keep the mouse low on the screen...that will slow the car down. Click the mouse to change between forward and reverse. Move mouse left and right from center to steer.
you live in maine right? do you see lots of puffins?
Sadly, no. They are mostly on small islands further north of me. I've seen them once, from a whale-watching boat. I see lots of eagles though :)

It's pretty tricky...but you can slow down the car by moving the mouse lower on the screen, which makes it easier.
